Unlike conventional junction boxes, the JB1010ST features individual cell and section signal trim capability, allowing technicians to fine-tune each load cell as well as groups of load cells for maximum weighing accuracy. This improves scale performance by compensating for uneven loading and ensuring consistent readings across the weighing platform. Any unused channels require modification before operation.
For superior protection against electrical disturbances, the JB1010ST incorporates transient protection using gas discharge tubes, helping safeguard load cells and weighing electronics from lightning strikes, static discharge, and voltage surges commonly encountered in outdoor scale installations.
The enclosure is constructed from stainless steel and rated NEMA Type 4X, providing excellent resistance to moisture, dust, corrosion, and harsh industrial environments.
