The Rice Lake JB4ES TuffSeal® Excitation Trim Junction Box is a rugged industrial-grade summing and trimming solution designed for multi-load-cell weighing systems. Built with a stainless steel NEMA Type 4X enclosure, the JB4ES provides exceptional protection against moisture, dust, corrosion, washdown conditions, and harsh industrial environments, making it ideal for demanding weighing applications.

Designed to connect two, three, or four single load cells, the JB4ES uses individual excitation trim technology to precisely balance load cell outputs. This allows technicians to fine-tune each load cell for improved scale performance, greater accuracy, and more consistent weight readings across the weighing platform.

Integrated jumpers allow individual load cells to be enabled or disabled for troubleshooting, maintenance, and system setup. The included expansion port provides the flexibility to connect additional junction boxes when larger weighing systems require more load cells than a single junction box can support.

To protect internal electronics, the JB4ES features a conformal-coated circuit board and Rice Lake's PreVent™ breather vent technology. The breather vent helps equalize internal pressure while reducing condensation caused by temperature changes, extending the life of sensitive components and ensuring reliable long-term operation.

The JB4ES is commonly used in floor scales, tank weighing systems, hopper scales, vessel weighing applications, and other industrial weighing installations where dependable signal management and accurate load cell balancing are critical.
