The Rice Lake JB4SP and JB4SPT TuffSeal® Signal Trim Junction Boxes are rugged industrial summing boxes designed to combine and balance signals from multiple load cells in demanding weighing applications. Built for use as sub-junction boxes within larger modular weighing systems, these units provide reliable signal management and expansion capabilities for complex scale installations.

Designed to accommodate two, three, or four single load cells, the JB4SP and JB4SPT feature individual signal trimming that allows technicians to precisely balance load cell outputs for improved weighing accuracy and platform performance. Integrated jumpers make it easy to enable or disable individual load cells during troubleshooting, maintenance, or system configuration.

The included expansion port allows additional junction boxes to be connected, making the system scalable for larger tank, hopper, and process weighing applications. This flexibility makes the JB4SP series an excellent choice for installations requiring more than four load cells while maintaining centralized signal management.

Constructed with a durable Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) / Polycarbonate NEMA Type 4X enclosure and stainless steel hardware, the JB4SP series provides outstanding protection against moisture, dust, corrosion, and harsh industrial conditions. The conformal-coated circuit board and PreVent™ breather vent further protect internal electronics by reducing condensation and pressure changes caused by environmental fluctuations.

The JB4SPT model includes additional transient protection for applications exposed to electrical surges or lightning-related disturbances, helping safeguard sensitive weighing equipment and load cell circuitry.
