The Rice Lake POLY GUARD™ Clear Printer Enclosure is a rugged protective housing designed to safeguard industrial label printers operating in demanding washdown environments. Ideal for food processing, meat packing, poultry facilities, seafood processing plants, dairy operations, and other sanitary production areas, the POLY GUARD enclosure helps extend printer life while maintaining easy access for daily operation.
Constructed with a clear 0.25-inch polycarbonate cover and a durable natural polyethylene (butcher block) base, the enclosure provides excellent visibility of printer operation while protecting equipment from water spray, cleaning chemicals, dust, and production contaminants. The transparent design allows operators to monitor printer status without opening the enclosure.
A convenient side access door allows fast label loading and media replacement, helping minimize downtime during production. The enclosure's cover separates from the base, providing easy access for printer maintenance and servicing when required.
For enhanced protection, power and communication cables are routed through a sealed rear cable notch, helping maintain enclosure integrity while supporting printer connectivity. The enclosure is engineered specifically for harsh washdown environments where reliable printer protection is essential.
