The Rice Lake Tripp Lite DNET1 Ethernet Surge Suppressor is a compact, industrial-grade network protection device designed to safeguard Ethernet-connected equipment from damaging voltage surges, lightning-induced transients, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and electrical noise. Ideal for industrial weighing systems, network infrastructure, printers, PLCs, terminals, and automation equipment, the DNET1 helps maintain reliable communications while reducing costly equipment failures and downtime.

Engineered with high-speed avalanche diode technology, the DNET1 rapidly diverts excess electrical energy away from sensitive network components and safely directs it to ground. This advanced surge suppression design helps protect network interface cards (NICs), hubs, switches, terminals, and other connected devices from transient voltage events commonly found in industrial and commercial environments.

The unit features convenient RJ45 input and output connections for simple installation within existing Ethernet networks. An included 5-inch Ethernet patch cable allows the suppressor to be installed as close as possible to the protected device, maximizing surge protection effectiveness. A heavy-duty 6-inch grounding lead provides a secure connection to designated grounding points for optimal performance.

Compatible with 10Base-T, 100Base-T, Token Ring, AS400/Sys3x, and RS-422 applications, the DNET1 offers versatile protection for a wide range of industrial communication systems.
