Utilizing Direct Thermal printing technology, the ZD421 eliminates the need for ribbons or toner, reducing operating costs while producing crisp text, graphics, shipping labels, inventory labels, barcode labels, shelf tags, and product identification labels. The printer offers a print resolution of 203 dpi and delivers speeds up to 6 inches per second, making it ideal for daily business operations.

The ZD421 features Zebra's OpenACCESS™ design, allowing users to quickly load media and perform routine maintenance. Enhanced media guides and adjustable sensors support a wide range of label types, including gap labels, black mark labels, notched media, and continuous stock.

Built around Zebra's advanced Link-OS platform, the printer supports both ZPL and EPL programming languages, simplifying migration from older Zebra printers while ensuring compatibility with existing labeling systems and software applications.

With 512 MB Flash memory and 128 MB SDRAM, the ZD421 provides fast processing and efficient handling of complex label formats.
